Täby United FC was one of 48 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Golden Cup 2017. They participated with three teams in P07 Lätt/Medel, P04 Lätt/Medel and P04 Svår/Extra svår respectively. The team in P04 Svår/Extra svår made it to the the Final in Slutspel/Vidare speland won it over FC Djursholm 1 by 7-1.

Täby United FC comes from Täby which lies approximately 19 km from Kungsängen, where Golden Cup takes place.
