Vasastan BK was one of 48 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Golden Cup 2017. They participated with two teams in P08 Lätt/Medel and P07 Lätt/Medel respectively. The team in P08 Lätt/Medel made it to the the in Slutspel/Vidare speland won it over Bollstanäs SK 1 by 2-0.
In addition to this, Vasastan BK have participated in Golden Cup before. During Golden Cup 2016, Vasastan had two teams playing in P04 Svår/Extra svår. The team in P04 Svår/Extra svår made it to the the Final in Slutspel, but lost it against Åkersberga FC by 1-2. Vasastan comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 23 km from Kungsängen, where Golden Cup takes place.
