AIK FF A made it to Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Hammarby IF FF 10 with 3-4. Thereby AIK FF A finished second in P06 Svår/Extra svår Slutspel during Golden Cup 2016. AIK FF A also participated in P06 Svår/Extra svår during Golden Cup 2015.
