Årsta FF was one of 44 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Golden Cup 2016. They participated with three teams in P04 Lätt/Medel and P03 Lätt/Medel respectively. The team in P03 Lätt/Medel made it to the the Final in Slutspeland won it over Bromstens IK by 6-1.
Årsta comes from Årsta which lies approximately 26 km from Kungsängen, where Golden Cup takes place.
